What better way to fall more in love with Christ than through His living Word?!
in Daniel 9 daniel is praying to God and confessing sin and saying how the Israelites have committed treason against Him, and His laws and how disobedient they have been and how merciful and forgiving God is and has been. And I was just kind of blown away, once again, by the mercy and forgiveness of God.
do we really take our sin seriously before a Holy God? Do we really meditate on how merciful God is to us?
God giving the Israelites the law, was a very merciful thing to do.
God is Holy. God is Merciful. God is forgiving. God loves us, and we should meditate on these things. Store them in our hearts.

PSALM 19 (read it all)
“…the rules of the LORD are true, and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, even much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and drippings of the honeycomb.” v.9b-10
