God likes cheesy!

This could be a bit cheesy, but I’ll let you in on a secret of mine….but you can’t tell anyone. I gotta keep my reputation (i guess).
I am a romantic at heart.

I was watching and really enjoying old people dancing some Polka this afternoon at the Swiss Festival in town. And they were all having the time of their lives, you could tell. and us girls were talking, bout how for the older people, that was their date nights…going out and dancing! so these polka dances, may remind them of their younger days. and watching these people dance and having a great time, just made me think about Love. Relationship love, marriage love, committed love, that lasts a lifetime on this earth, and an eternity with our Savior.

Also, today is my parents 33 year anniversary! and when mom told me how many years, i was like ‘wow’ i can’t even imagine! 33 yrs is a long time to be with one person…course could be cuz im only 23 and can’t imagine that many years. hah. but, thinking about them,  and their relationship, and Love, just made me so thankful that they are still deeply in love with each other and completely committed to one another. So thankful.

So,
Seeing couples in love and enjoying each other, just makes me think of God! :)

VERSE of the day:
”We ask you, brothers, to respect those who labor among you and are over you in the Lord and admonish you, and to esteem them very highly in love because of their work. Be at peace among yourselves. And we urge you brothers, admonish the idle, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with them all. See that no one repays anyone evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to everyone. Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. Do not quench the Spirit. Do not despise prophecies, but test everything; hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil. Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful; he will surely do it.”
1 Thessalonians 5:12-24
