Beki’s family is here with us visiting this week. We had dinner at my mom’s tonight, and there are not fireflies (lightning bugs) in Northern Ireland, so her littlest sister and Father were fascinated by them, she caught them (and we will pry catch more sometime this week) and were taking pictures of them in a jar.
The fascination of things we’ve never seen before is an amazing thing. I can’t remember the last time I was fascinated like that at something I had never seen or experienced before. Yet that is how we should be with God. and with His creation…fascinated by His wonder. Reading His word like we have never read or experienced it before. Seeing the creation and people like we have never seen or experienced before.
So i encourage you, to try to re-experience the awesomeness of Christ, like its the very first time you are falling in love or experiencing the things of the LORD!
